This week, between Tuesday, September 4th and Friday, September 7th, GE delegation takes part in the 26thInternational Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce – the biggest military fair in Europe. Last year, more than 35 000 guests visited the Exhibition, while 618 exhibitors from 27 counties showed their products there.

We asked Krzysztof Połomski, Senior Business Development Manager, what he thinks about our stay at the exhibition. “I am very pleased that GE has appeared at the MSPO this year as the supplier of Defense Industry engines. During these types of events you can understand what the expectations of end users of our products are, as well as see how other suppliers in this segment respond to the requirements of this specific market.” – said Krzysztof. –  “These two days were a new and very good experience for us. We hold some important and promising meetings and we made some observations that will help us to prepare even better for the next event of this type. “ – he added.

This year the GE stall was part of the bigger box of the Institute of Aviation. We presented there the engine from the CT7/T700 family and showed the wide spectrum of GE Aviation activities in Poland, that cover the entire life cycle of a product.  “During the Exhibition we observed big interest in the GE engine. A lot of visitors recognized our company and the presented product. Those who didn’t know it, had a chance to listen about family of CT7/T700 engines and learn about its advantages. It was also a good opportunity to promote GE and EDC.” – said Piotr Wiatr, Business and General Aviation Engineering Manager.

As the event ends today, we will wait some time to see the results. But as Bjorn Gidner, Senior Sales & Proposal Director in GE told us “It was definitely worth to be there. MSPO is a good place to meet the decisionmakers from the whole defence industry.”
