Our engineers work in following areas: aircraft jet engines, gas and steam turbines, electric motors and generators, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, as well as industrial installations including pipelines, and automatics. EDC employs over 1800 engineers and is the largest engineering center in the Central Europe.

Role Summary / Purpose

Electrical technician will be part of Lab Maintenance & Development team performing various control and instrumentation works for test laboratories in Institute of Aviation. Electrical technician will support engineering and assembly works on low voltage and extra low voltage installation.


  • Sensors assembly on tested hardware;
  • Electrical wiring works (power supply, control and instrumentation cables for tested hardware and laboratory infrastructure);
  • Industrial and MIL type connectors assembly on cables;
  • Control cabinets assembly and modification according to wiring diagrams;
  • Keeping all instrumentation, actuators and electrical equipment in good technical condition including proper handling, installation, service and periodic calibration;
  • Qualifications / Requirements

    • Technical education;
    • Professional experience: 1 year minimum;
    • Very good manual skills (especially in precise electrical assembly);
    • Electrical (wiring) diagrams reading capability;
    • Basic knowledge of electronic equipment for control and measurement;
    • Basic knowledge of process actuators such as valves, pumps, electric motors, etc.
    • Experience with instrumentation and actuators will be beneficial;
    • Electrical qualification up to 1kV (group I, E);
    • English at a basic level minimum;
    • Team work capability;
    • Good stress situations handling, peace and self-control keeping;
