What is the Edison Engineering Development Program?

2 to 2.5 year program with 3+ rotational assignments in various engineering teams driven by real GE business priorities

Technical problem-solving skills developed via advanced engineering coursework

Exposure to senior leadership through formal reports and presentations

One week world-class business skills development experience

Active coaching throughout the program

What do I need to become an Edison?

Recent MSc degree (or soon-to-be graduate) in mechanical, electrical or materials engineering with academic excellence

Prior internship, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing

Commitment to a career in technology

Analytical approach to problem solving

Knowledge of advanced mathematics, including calculus and differential equations

Experience in writing technical reports

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Fluent proficiency in English

Engineering Design Center (EDC) is an engineering alliance between a global leader in the engineering industry – General Electric and a high-tech Polish research and development center Łukasiewicz Research Network –  Institute of Aviation. EDC operates in many areas such as jet engines, avionics systems, digital technologies, gas turbines, steam turbines, axial, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors as well as industrial installations including design of pipelines and controls systems.
