Role Summary / Purpose

As a JavaScript Developer you will be responsible for developing diagnostic system for the airplanes. Our device collects data from avionic systems during the flight which are then processed and displayed to the technical team. EDC team is centered on design and development of user interfaces used to present collected information on web-browser based servicing devices and cockpit displays.

Responsibilities

  • Develop front-end applications with JavaScript, AngularJS 1.x, HTML5, CSS3,
  • Develop Industrial Internet applications based on Predix Cloud Foundry platform,
  • Design and development of real-time embedded software within an integrated team environment,
  • Develop web based front-end solutions for image visualization and analytics,
  • Collaborate with system engineers, backend developers to implement UI solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions,
  • Partner and work closely with the back end development team for seamless integration,
  • Participate in determining the technical roadmap and strategy for the underlying platform,
  • Capture system level requirements by brainstorming with Sr. Architects, Data Scientists, Businesses & Product Managers,
  • Demonstrate the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.
  • Qualifications / Requirements

    • Degree in Engineering,
    • Experience in web application development (JavaScript design patterns and frameworks i.e. AngularJS 1.x, React, Polymer),
    • Familiarity with SOA, Cloud Computing and SW design principles related to SOAP/REST Web Services,
    • Knowledge of responsive web design,
    • Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems,
    • Good oral and written communication skills both in Polish and English,
    • Good problem solving and solution building skills,
    • Desire to learn and walk the path to excellence.

      • Knowledge of working with websockets and HTML5 web storage,
      • Knowledge of web development related tools (Grunt, Gulp, npm, bower),
      • Experience with Node.js,
      • Knowledge of ECMAScript 6,
      • Experience designing and implementing embedded software,
