Engineering Design Center (EDC) was created under an agreement between General Electric and the Institute of Aviation. Our engineers work in following areas: aircraft jet engines, gas and steam turbines, electric motors and generators, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, as well as industrial installations including pipelines, and automatics. EDC employs over 1800 engineers and is the largest engineering center in the Central Europe.

Role Summary / Purpose

Quality engineer will be responsible for measuring and analyzing engineering quality metrics and report on findings, liaising with managers and teams, coordinate procedures to address any deficiencies.


  • Coordinate quality assurance aspects in engineering processes and associated procedures and documentation
  • Maintain engineering quality metrics and update them on a regular basis with reports to management
  • Support and participation in ISO/API audits – both internal and external
  • Review and update engineering procedures as needed and ensure approvals and updated training completion in a timely manner
  • Contribution with the development of additional business metrics and implementation of new / revised processes

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Experience in Engineering or related fields


  • Familiar with ISO and API standards and specifications,
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills,
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Demands process rigor from organization,
  • Passion for excellence,
  • Embodies the highest levels of compliance and integrity,
  • Certified Green Belt.
