Engineering Design Center (EDC) was created under an agreement between General Electric and the Institute of Aviation. Our engineers work in following areas: aircraft jet engines, gas and steam turbines, electric motors and generators, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, as well as industrial installations including pipelines, and automatics. EDC employs over 1800 engineers and is the largest engineering center in the Central Europe.

What your role will be based on? / What are your team key projects?

Life Cycle Information (Information Management) coordinator is the single point of contact towards Customer in all matters related to document and information deliverables in the project. LCI coordinator shall establish, describe, implement and maintain the overall LCI strategy for the project and is responsible for planning, coordination, support, follow-up and quality control of LCI related input from all parties involved in the project.

You will work on

  • Participate in tender / bid teams reviewing ITT’s and perform gap analysis and identify areas subject to exceptions or further clarifications with Customer
  • After Contract award, perform Contract Review
  • Prepare LCI Plan and LCI relevant procedures
  • Establish regular meeting schedule with Customer
  • Perform LCI Familiarization meetings with relevant project personnel
  • Setup Final Documentation Plan (based on MDR and LCI Procedure)
  • Arrange Coordination meetings with Document Control and Coe Engineering Teams
  • Follow up input of structured Engineering Data
  • Perform Continuous Quality Control of structured Engineering Data
  • Coordinate Final Handover of documentation and data
  • Ensure Documentation is in accordance with LCI Requirements
  • Provide Support in establishing the Mechanical Completion Process
  • Promote and ensure compliance to company and regulatory EHS requirements & expectations at all time
  • Promote and ensure compliance to company and regulatory Quality management systems at all time
  • Compliance with project EHS Plan, Quality Plan and related requirements

What we expect from you?

  • MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in engineering
  • Wide experience from document and data management in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Wide experience with IT systems for documentation and data management.
  • Good knowledge of documentation standards and requirements.
  • Wide experience with project management within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Good knowledge of the company’s products.
  • Technical Educational Background and/or experience
