Role Summary / Purpose

Backend developer needed

Our company is looking for an experienced backend developer who is willing to work in Agile Scrum team. This contract includes work for couple new projects as well as development of already existing ones. If you are experienced with Java 5+, Spring, build systems (Maven or Gradle) and SQL then we are looking for you, and if you know frontend basics, even better.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Industrial Internet applications based on Predix Cloud Foundry platform
  • Coding and testing systems modules, in accordance with design specifications
  • Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
  • Work with Business Analysts to understand product requirements & vision
  • Working in an international environment
  • Qualifications / Requirements

    • BSc/MSc degree
    • Experience in Java 5+
    • Experience in Spring framework, Spring Boot especially
    • Knowledge of SQL and database related topics
    • Good knowledge of English
    • Desired

      • Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, Gradle
      • Basic knowledge of Javascript and related frameworks
      • Additional experience in Scala or NodeJS is a plus
      • Previous experience with Agile / Scrum methodology or willingness to work in such
      • Knowledge on microservice architecture (including cloud infrastructure provider like Cloud Foundry / AWS)
