Engineering Design Center was created in the year 2000 under an agreement between General Electric and the Institute of Aviation and gathering passionate people in different areas of expertise like engineering, software and analytics. With dynamic organization growth we are looking for candidates for position below.

You will work on

  • Own medium-sized quality engineering tasks
  • Quality, test plans and testing methodology for multiple software modules
  • Analyzing design requirements to develop and implement Test Automation Architecture and framework
  • Performing White, Grey, and Black Box testing
  • Writing automation scripts in Selenium Web Driver framework
  • Providing consolidated status reports for defects and test case execution progress with respect to plan to upper management
  • Diagnosis areas of quality weakness in the system and improvement plan
  • Leading and guiding Software Quality Engineers and Developers on testing
  • Developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases
  • Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques

What we expect from you?

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Experience in software testing
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes
  • Extensive experience in test automation
  • Experience Object oriented programming in Java
  • Expertise and knowledge in writing automation scripts for build and release processes
  • Familiarity with software build and release process with Jenkins or other build engines
  • Experience with Oracle database platform and SQL scripting
  • Help define best practices for source control, continuous integration, automated testing, build automation, deployment, and release management
  • Ability to work closely with Development, Product Management, Design, Support, and other key stakeholders
  • Experience working with Agile software development methodologies
  • Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
  • Ability to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
  • Good knowledge of English
